District regional units

The administrative district is the regional centre of state administration, comprising the district regional units of all state administrative organs formed for its territory.

The state administrative body is empowered to make first-instance decisions in administrative matters in the administrative district, to decide on appeals when the public authority holders have made first-instance decisions, to supervise the work of the public authority holders and to carry out inspection supervision.

Inspection supervision shall be carried out in accordance with the Act on Inspection Supervision and the Regulations.
