Professional service of the administrative district

In the administrative district there is an Administrative District Professional Service. The professional service of the administrative district is responsible for providing professional and technical support to the head of the administrative district and for tasks that apply to all regional units of state administrative bodies. The professional service of the administrative district provides professional and administrative support to the council of the administrative district.

The administrative district technical service is headed by the head of the administrative district, who decides on the rights and duties of the employees of the technical service. The ministry responsible for administrative affairs supervises the expediency of the work of the administrative district’s specialised service, controls the qualifications of its employees and issues instructions to it. The regulations on state administration apply to the professional service of the administrative district.

A total of 15 civil servants and officials are employed in the Professional Service of the Zlatibor Administrative District, in accordance with the Rulebook on internal organization and systematization of workplaces in the Professional Service of the Zlatibor Administrative District.

As part of the professional service of the Zlatibor Administrative District, the General Affairs Department was formed as an internal unit under the direction of the Head of the Department. The Department of General Affairs performs all the tasks of the professional service as a professional support to the Head of the Zlatibor Administrative District, the regional units of the District, the Council of the Administrative District and other tasks in accordance with the set of rules for internal organisation and systematisation of workplaces. It carries out its work in the headquarters of the district and in the municipalities outside the headquarters where the inspection services are located.

Currently, the Zlatibor Administrative District Professional Service performs functions for the following service users:

• the head of the administrative district of Zlatibor;
• council of the Administrative District;
• 20 inspection services in 8 ministries, currently employing 94 inspectors, supervisors and other officials assigned to the Zlatibor Administrative District;
• citizens acting as parties in administrative proceedings
• on special request for the needs of ministries and public services that do not have their executors in the territory of the district.
