It borders the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (border length approx. 160 km), the Republic of Montenegro (border length approx. 112 km) and four administrative districts: Ma\u010dvanski, Kolubarski, Moravi\u010dki and Ra\u0161ki. The natural border is formed by the mountains Maljen and Povlen in the north, the mountain ranges of Montenegro on the edge of the Pe\u0161ter plateau in the south, the Ov\u010darsko Kablar gorge in the east and the river Drina in the west.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>With an area of 6140 km<sup>2<\/sup> (which is 7% of the total area of Serbia) and the number of settlements (438), the Zlatibor administrative district is the largest in the republic. The borders of the district are 218 km in the north-south direction and 94 km in the east-west direction.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The administrative district of Zlatibor includes the city of U\u017eice and nine municipalities: Arilje, Bajina Ba\u0161ta, Kosjeri\u0107, Nova Varo\u0161, Po\u017eega, Priboj, Prijepolje, Sjenica and \u010cajetina. The municipality of Sjenica has the largest territory (1059 km<sup>2<\/sup> or 17% of the total area of the district) and the largest number of settlements (101 settlements or 23% of the total). The smallest municipality according to both criteria is the municipality of Arilje. The town of U\u017eice has the most inhabitants with about 27% of the total population of the district, followed by Prijepolje with 13%.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Most of the area is hilly and mountainous, over 55% of which is agricultural land. The municipality of Sjenica has the largest agricultural area, where over 76% of the territory is cultivated with meadows and pastures, and the municipality of Priboj has the smallest area with 33%.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The administrative district of Zlatibor is located in a part of Serbia known for its abundance of watercourses, mountain centres, forests and other natural beauties, as well as for numerous cultural and historical monuments.
